Sozialversicherung
I left Germany to America in 1989 after working several years at TU Berlin. I am currently retired. How could I apply the social security in Germany?

Thanks,
Zhihao Chen

citizenship application form help needed in Deutsche
I provided my mother's birth certificate to the consulate. They did not accept it, but instructed me that it was not proof of her German citizenship on the actual date of my birth. She has been unable to find any document of that date and that's why I'm trying to find a Deutsche speaker that can read/write the citizenship application form, for me starting over from scratch. Thanks for your reply though.

The birth certificate of your mother should proof that she was a German citizen at the time of your birth. If she can't find her own birth certificate she can order one from the civil regestry office(Standesamt in German) of the city she was born.

citizenship application form help needed in Deutsche
I am an English only speaking adoptee since birth as a US citizen that wants to restore my German citizenship. I can't read/write the online website form and I need assistance. I've traveled to Germany several times and my birthmother is bi-lingual, and I haven't learned Deutche. This consulate referred me to the local German language schools, outside of a formal University, and the schools referred me back to the consulate. I have all my papers but am told without proof of my birthmothers citizenship (at the time of my birth), I have to apply online. My birthmother provided me proof of her citizenship, but she cannot find a government document at the actual date of my birth, and the adoption process doesn't require the mother to prove her citizenship.
