The insensitive manner in which visa applications are handled
I am appalled with how quickly and uninformative things change with regard to south africans wanting to visit germany. My lifetime partner (a German Citizen) passed away 3 weeks ago. And because I am self-employed now only do they want a CR number from SARS which is still pending since registration and was never required all the 8 times I have been to Germany with my late partner. Not only that, also the manner in which the lady at 80 Strand Street conducted the entire affair was heartless and in a manner of I-couldnt-give-a-flying-cahoots attitude. I never overstayed my welcome, was never involved with illegal activities but feel like being treated as a criminal now that I am applying for a visa without my late partner. I have a business to run after my return from germany since now that the apartment and everything else is on my name. I am extremely traumatized by the entire affair and quite scared to attend my visa application appointment tomorrow morning in the fear that they will reject it.

Hello. My husband and I have been trying to get his German pension sorted for the last few year of so. He is 76 years old and until a few years ago was able to work until he had a stroke and not able to put in a full days work anymore. Please advise in how to go about applying for a German pension here in South Africa. He is still a citizen of Germany and has worked and lived in German. Many tanks and best regards - please reply to this email address - dbruseke62@gmail.com or debbie@centrotec.co.za

Children's passport pictures
We have recently experienced a problem traveling back fron Germany to Cape Town. The Clark at the passport control desk advised that our children's photos in their German passports does not look like them as they are a lot older than in the pictures. Both of children's passports are still valid and are only expiring in a year or two. We are now traveling to Hamburg in December and am worried that we might experience the same problem. The Clark advised that the picture can be changed without having to apply for a new passport. He also advised that he can refuse entry because of this situation. Can you please shed more light on this problem and advise the way forward.
Thank you.
Regards
Kami

Please can you forward to me the details of how to purchase stamps from the Main Post Office in Frankfurt.
The shops direct e-mail of the contact person, please.
The Consulate did their best and gave me a nice map of Germany to help with the stamp collecting.
Now I need precise contact details of the Philately shop ? Please ?

Visa- Documents required
Good day,

My daughter is going with her school in June to Germany. She is 18 years old and in possession of a valid South African passport.

Does she need an Unabridge Birth Certificate to apply for a visa.

Thanks and regards

receptionist counter number 1
i came to make an inquiry at triangle building capetown floor no 19 german embassy. what i got from the german lady working at counter number 1 was hell. this lady attacked me with words and i believe its a racial attack. this are the kind of people we dont need in africa. they are enemy of progress. if she is not willing to help african she might aswell go back to her home country. i was so offended by this so called person. i have opened a case for investigation against her and i hope she deal with the consequences. thanks to my samsung gear watch i had to record the conversation. we don't support racism in africa.
thank you
