Dear Mr. Khalid,

It has been brought to my attention that the efforts of the Swedish NGO Action For Humanity to help the repatriation of the Gambian girls stuck in Lebanon are never enough.

This Swedish NGO is already doing your work and have promised to pay for the tickets. But the tickets cannot be purchased without the passports. All you have to do is to issue the passports. Why are you creating problems to make the repatriation as hard as possible? What is the real obstacle here?

According to my information, you have now told the Action For Humanity that you are not the one to issue the passports, that it is not your responsibility. If this is true then so be it, but then it is your responsibility to push for that the responsible person or organ issues these passports with the utmost urgency. The world is watching and we are not happy with how you treat these Gambian citizens who are in an extremely vulnerable and horrific situation.

Take your responsibility! If not in your position as consulate then as a human being!

Respectful greetings from Sweden

Help
Dear Mr. Khalid,

It has been brought to my attention that the efforts of the Swedish NGO Action For Humanity to help the repatriation of the Gambian girls stuck in Lebanon are never enough.

This NGO have promised to pay for the tickets, but the tickets cannot be purchased without the passports. And your office is the primary contact point in that process. Why are you creating problems to make the repatriation as hard as possible? What is the real obstacle here?

I understand that you obviously are not personally responsible for issuing passports, but I would also not believe that you do not have the power to make it happen. If whatever state the process in is not longer at your desk, use the power of your office to find the desk responsible and make sure they do it. You have influence, use it to help.

Regards, Jens, Sweden
