Sir,
If your father was a french citizen domiciled with his family in a foreign country other than Indian Union, during the period of option, he will conserve his french nationality. To become Indian he had to make option in the Indian Embassy of the county where he had domicile. Yours sincerely,
joseph

Sir,
Congratulations for getting CNF. I think that you have not well presented your case in this site. In french nastionality matter, every thisg is considered according to french law. No room for divine grace. You may get ascertained whether the reasoning given in your CNF by the Greffier en chef is correct. If there is an error the French consulate will notice and report the same to the Procureur de la Republique at Nantes (France) to file a suit for cancellation of the certificate of french nationality, Be careful. Yours sincerely
