I like to meet friends from TN.
I am Damian Silva from Sri Lanka. Now I am 54 year English teacher and dad of 2 sons. I was a students in AP in 1980 and 1981. Still I have many friends in India. I visited India in Aug and Nov in 2012. Perhaps I may visit India again end of this year or next year. I like to meet friends from TN.

How can get my Grand father birth certificate year of 1881 ( Ariyankuppam)

Sir I did applied my french nationality by the way of my Father & Mother marriage in 1961 ( Father born 1940 in Pondicherry Mother born 1944 in Tidivanam Tamilnadu)

I did send all my papers to direct to France They are accept to give french nationality but they asked my Grandfather birth certificate ( Father's father in 1881)

I did tried all the way (certian Maire + Court + Pondicherry archives ) I can't find it so I get NOC from certian Marie and sent to France they are not accepted it ? so please tell me what can I do or How can I did find my Grand father birth certificate.

My father was born in karaikal(DOB-1918,HAVE BIRTH CERTIFICATE [ETAT CIVIL],
MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE[ETAT CIVIL] ,
livret de famille,
Certificat D’Identite with photo and stated nationalite as francaise for my father given by Le Maire de la Commune( Grand’Aldee).
MY grandfather was also born in karaikal in 1886
(his birth certtificate is damaged).Have marriage certificate for my grandfather(1913)etat civil.

Is the above said documents are enough to prove that my father is a french man..???? and also plzz mention the other documents needed..

You can contact the regional passport office having jurisdiction over your residential area and get the necessary particulars and forms for renewal of your pssport, if it is Indian,
If you are holding french passport you can contact directly the concerned French consulate general. Yours sincerely
