My father born in Pondicherry in 1941,my father's parents are pondicherry natives my mother born in Trichy(Tamil nadu) in 1949,my mother's parents are tamilnadu natives both got married in 1970. both are Indian nationals. I born in 1973 in Pondicherry, in 2009 I got married to a Pondicherry resident and got 5years old son now, all are Indian nationals. till date I have been residing in Pondicherry.Sir,Can I apply for french nationality now?

My father's birth certificate is in French.
To apply passport, they requested to change it in English (now the name appeared in French) how to change it in English, Can you please advise us?

The Indian postal service report is not sufficient, You must get the acknoledgement receipt of your papers from the concerned registrar (Greffier en chef) at Paris. You can send to him a reminder letter, Yours sincerely

Thank u very much for your reply. i got the birth certificate of my mother's father birth certificate and grandfather's birth certificate they both were born in pondicherry itself, and my grandmother told they have voted for french government, i think we may possible to get my grandfather and grandfather's father name in french voter list. now how can we apply for the nationality, i want to contact u sir how can i contact?

You have sent papers asking for fr. nationality certificate, one year basck. If you received no communication, you can send a reminder with a copy of acknowldegment receipt card of your previous paers,. Yours sincerely,
