Reply to Mr. Arunkumar to his question about french nationality.
Sir,
I suppose that You, your brother and your french father were born in Fr.India, If so, all three are covered by the provisions of the Franco Indian treaty of 1956 which came into force on 16.08.1062. According to this treaty, your father had to maie a declaration of option by including your names as minors, to conserve the french nationality. If he failed to do so, he lost the french nationality and became Indian. Yourself and your brother followed the condition of your father. The matter of french nationality is complicated, therefore it is not possible to give a correct reply without verifying all your papers, Yours sincerely . My cell No. 9843648646

Miss,
After your marriage with a French and its transcription in the CGF at Pondicherry you can apply for french visa as a wife of french citizen. For this, you should have knowledge of french language and the values of French Republic to a certain level. Training given in French college (Lycee francais) at Pondicherry) You are advised to contact this institution (tel. 2334096 and e-mail proviseur@lfpondichery.net and also Alliance francaise at Pondicherry, for more details. Reply to the questions of Sithra
Miss Chithra. If you are a hindu, your personal law will probibit marriage between cousins. Further you have to verify whether the bridegroom is really a french national (CNF, NIC and french passport will seve as proof for this).
The procedure for a mixed marriage is the following. 1)publication of bans (in french consulate having jurisdiction over your place of rsidence and in the concerned commune in France for the bridegroom, prior to the delivery of fitness cerifcate for marriage 2)hearing of the future spouses
3)Indian marriage in India to be registered in the office of the competent officers with the certificate of fitness issued 4)transcription in the consulate of France, afterreceipt of the local marriage deed etc...
NB. The indian spouse could ask for entry visa to France only after this transcription is done, This visa will be granted after compulsory consultaion with the Ministy of foreign affairs, according to law 2006-911 dated 24.07,2006 relating to immigration and integration. Yours sincerely.
