Spouse visa for France
Dear Sir,

My daughter will soon be married to an Indian having a permanent job in France.I have a few questions:
1- After marriage generally how long does it take to acquire a spouse visa?
2- Can student visa or tourist visa and spouse visa be applied parallely?
I will be highly obliged to get your response.
Thanks

Attestation and apostille
Thank you M kichenamourty!
This is the procedure that is generally known, but when I enquired agencies in chennai, they said for attestation it can be done by SDM (Sub division magistrate) not necessarily from regional authentication center for France but some countries it is mandatory. And apostill should be done in Delhi as the requirements has been changed recently for france. The reason why am very specific in knowing this is, the death certificate which is issued from mangalore corporation is tedious to get attested there.

You belong to a family of renoncants. On 16.08.1962 French india was merged into Indian Union by dejue transfer, You were a minor aged 3 yers on that date, If your father opted to conserve his french nationality by making a declaration under the Franoc India treaty 1956 and including therein your name, you will continue to be French, All renoncants/non optants and born in French India, became Indians on 16.08.1962.
