You did not mention your date of marriage. If you married after 16.08.1962 a french man, you are eligible to ask for a certificate of declaration of french nationality, For this you have to go with your husband and relevant papers, to the French consulate general in Pondicherry and contact nationality section, If you are able to speak french language, and if your papers are satisfactory, they will record your declaration sith signature in printed form which will be forwarded to the concerned Ministy in France. 1- After marriage generally how long does it take to acquire a spouse visa?
2- Can student visa or tourist visa and spouse visa be applied parallely?

I did contacted to etat civil by phone they say that it will take 6 to 8 months..
Is that true..? Will it be done in 3 months or 8 months..???
