Sir,
Your lst method, All french citizens, born in Pondicherry, having completed the age of 18 years, residing either in French India or Indian Union, had to make option to conserve their french naitonality, For a minor of below 18 years. his father, if he his not alive, his french wife should, if they desire, include the minor's name in their declaration for option, French citizens inthe above catogery wha have opted, will conserve the french nationality If not, they will become indians w,e,f 16,08.1962.
your second method relates to immatriculations, ie,
french citizens born in Indian Union and ladies of foreign counries including Indian Union who married french Indian before 16.08.1962 are not liable, under some exception, to make option required by franco indian treasty of 1956. These persons conserve their french nationality amd are eligible to get the CNF. The children of a french father or mother can also ask for CNF uf they were born after 16.9.1962. Details stated by you in your 3rd method are not correct. Yours sincerely
