Too much power for the French consulate within the Shengen Visas Matter
Dear Sir/Madam,

I was going to fly to Germany tonight but unfortunately, the French Consulate in Libreville pretended that I did not give the enough evidence that I had enough money to get a short stay visa. I had a three-thousand euro voucher to sustain my 11 days in Stuttgart, the hotel costing 420€ only and my ticket clearly stated that I was going to China afer my stay and back to Gabon then.

I would simply like to point out that the French have been given too much power with this Shengen matter and must be reinded that not all Africans wish to settle in their country. I have already soujourned in france several times and have never felt like staying because I just love it in my country Gabon.

Also, when dilomats come to work in African countries, they must learn the cultures of these countries first and bear in their tiny minds that we in Africa can have money without needing to put in a bank.

Regards,

Micheline
