A permanent Resident of Canada, a Business owner, confirmed flight tickets, Hotel reservation, Reputable Bank Statements, yet refused for Visa ???!!!
Dear Marie,

I had applied for a multiple entry visa to France on the 29th of may 2013, and I received a refusal stamp on my passport, with no letter stating the reason for the refusal. I am a permanent resident of Canada, I have a family and a home and a reputable business there. I am only here in Egypt on vacation to visit my family. I wanted to pass by Paris for 4 days and enjoy the city on my way back home, yet I was refused without any reason, which does not make any sense to me. i have traveled half the world, I have lived in the states most of my life, obtained my degree from there, and was eligible for US citizenship, yet never felt the need to replace my identity and Egyptian passport with another. I have to say; I am very disappointed for being refused entry to France. I am reputable Education Consultant, middle aged young man, with a stable life in Canada, and I don't see any reason for my refusal. I have paid the visa fees required from me, booked my tickets, confirmed my hotel accommodation in France, none of which is refundable, and I feel oppressed, and feel that my rights as a human being have been violated, and the question is; was I denied the visa because I hold an Egyptian Passport ? Do we really live in a world of segregation and racism and inequality among nations ?! Kindly get back to me as soon as possible to advice me what I could do to appeal. Thank you.

letter of gratitude
This is to acknowledge the kind effort and assistance of Madame Valerie Fevrier. My family and myself will always be indebted to her for being so understanding, helpful, and gracious enough to receive us at the consulate and granting us an energency visa to go and be with our sister who died recently & suddenly in France. Madame Fevrier did that in the most decent and professional way possible. I do thank the embassy of France for their sincere consideration and wish Madame Valerie Fevrier a prosperous life and a successful career that she well deserve.

i don't think anyone from the consulate will read what we wrote here, the government of France can only give to Egyptians amount of visas per year,i am hoping when they are done giving the amount of visas, they stop collecting money from us and they know earlier that they will refuse our application, its called stealing and of course we loose more money on the insurance and flight tickets, etc .....,i think its really against your country's slogan, liberte egalite, fraternite
