Iam a Tanzanian women, a teacher by profession graduated from the University of Dar-Es-Salaam in 1999 BA (Education).I have taught in Secondary and Teachers college for 9 years.Currently Iam working with Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) as Zonal Coordinator based in Dar-Es-Salaam VETA zone.
I was registered by the Open University of Tanzania (OUT) to pursue Masters of Arts in Tourism and completed my course work since 2009. Iam now writing my proposal so that I complete my course. My research title is THE INFLUENCE OF TRAINING ON PERFORMANCE OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY- The case of Dar-Es-Salaam zone.
The objective of the study is to identify key factors for tourism and hospitality industry performance, to identify key performance indicators and to suggest what to be done so that the hospitality industry
can meet the expectations of the stakeholders they include hotel customers, employers,trainees, teachers and parents.
Iam looking for support so that I can complete my work.
I have already developed the proposal and send the zero draft to my supervisor. My study will involve visiting Vocational training centers and hotels in Dar-Es-salaam and Zanzibar.
I have already prepared the budget and analysis of all activities need money .
