My parents were in New Zealand for 3 years on work permit, when they applied for the their renewal of work-permit it got declined saying that the the painting job is not a trade work, but past 3 years my father got the work permit. They sold everything in fiji and settled here. Now they left the country empty handed. Thanks to immigration NZ. All staff in the immigration are really qualified, they cant tell the different between trade and non trade jobs.
