On 9th of July, 2014 in Nafplion (Greece) Russian tourist Natalia Filippova noticed the boy of European (possibly Slavic origin) appearance, who was sleeping on the road with poor old gypsy. Boy is about 3 years old (+ / -), not tanned yet, so looking like arrived into Greece recently. His sleep seemed unnatural - it could be because of drugs, as he also did not respond to the voices of passers-by.
We tricked the Gypsy to make a photo of the boy. The store owner, who has worked in front of, said something to her and Gypsy disappeared. The next day gypsy in the place could not be found. City residents said that in such cases the police do not get involved. Gypsy is big (fat) and looks around 60 years of age. City residents also explained that the boy "newly arrived" as yet has a sun tan and no loss of weight. It is believed that he is not Greek. Earlier this gypsy with this particular child was not seen. We see that the child was looked after, so it is likely he is stolen from his parents.
We ask for the help from everyone, who are not indifferent to this situation! Please forward this message. Someone is looking for this baby, and it may be that his parents will see your message. The official statement has been written to the Nafplion city Police. The statements and letters were sent to the Greek Ombudsman, Greece charity organization "Smile of the Child", some international missing children organizations.
Unfortunately, if there is no intervention of indifferent people, the child's fate is unknown. Generally speaking, the boy practically has no chance ... if there is no effort to help him because, over a period of time, he will die from an overdose of morphine or something like that ... In Greece, as in general throughout the world, these children are abandoned! NO ONE needs them! It is very important that this message would be seen by as many people as possible, especially in Europe. Let's help save a child's life!
Greece has Special own laws. According to the information received from the Greek public charity "Smile of the Child", which is engaged in child protection issues, they can not start looking for a child, because by the law, they have to get a call from the police first. When called the Police, they asked for the information about the place where the child was seen "now" and not 1-2-3 days ago.
