NEWTON COLLEGE STUDENTS TRAVEL TO HARVARD MUN CONFERENCE representing AFGHANISTAN
"A select group of 13 students of the very well-known NEWTON College School were selected to participate in the Model United Nations conference organized by Harvard University in Boston from January 29th to February 4th.
This time, the prestigious MUN conference represents a great opportunity for high school students to develop their interpersonal skills, strategic communication, negotiation and problem solving, while interacting with people around the world.
The group of students is composed of: Andrés López, Sebastian Rosado Mustafá, Mariana Otero, Alejandro Plate, Deweena Parija, Juan Pablo Rossi, Jonathan Villagra Silva, Nicolas Reydon Seoane, Santiago Martinez Vallejo, Andrea Velarde Seminario, José Ignacio Ghivarello, Mauricio Yáñez, Carlos Gutierrez Aza; who will be representing AFGHANISTAN in various global issues such as: Disarmament and International Security, World Health Organization, United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, Women's Conferences, Special Operations to maintain peace, Commission economic and social for Asia and the Pacific, among others.
From here we wish you much success! "
