I went to the consulate offices on Park Ave. a coupe of days ago to request some information about what's needed for my mother in order to renew her passport, the young lady that answered my questions was very helpful and very sweet.

Llego a tratar de renovar el pasaporte y me dicen que mi partidad de nacimineto ya esta vencida (me mori pues). Que necesito una nueva que la original esta muy viejita. Sacan una hoja de tramites de papeles a El Salvador y que ellos me hacen llegar mi partida en menos de 5 dias. Claro tengo que pagar $60 por una partida de naciemineto nueva. El de la ventana dice que vaya a otro consul, que ellos si aceptan la original. Que inteligencia la de estos. Vamos un paso al frente y despues 3 atras. Gracias consulado por hacerme cuidadano Americano despues de 28 anos de estar aca como un salvadoreno.

Hola quisiera saber si alguien me puede ayudar tengo un hijo en elsalvador que nacio aca pero pasaporte vence en abril de el 2014quiero saber con cuanto tiempo de anticipacion el tiene que viajar y si tengo que ppagar multa por estar fuera 3 anos.. gracias de antemano.
