I have a Pakistani passport but i have residence visa for Norway since i work here. I am planning to goto egypt for a conference and would like to know, what are the requirements of the visa?
Also a friend of mine is Canadian, does he require a visa in advance or can he get it on the airport.

Sitter igjen med mange fine inntrykk fra tur til Egypt/Kairo nå i november. Masse flotte mennesker og mange smil å se på tross av vanskelige tider.
Noe jeg allikevel undrer meg over er at Egyptiske turist myndigheter lar truende og "småkorrupte" selgere og ansatte innen turisme få fritt spillerom.Det er utrolig uforståelig at de lar det bare skure på gå ikke minst utenfor Pyramidene. Det var også meget ubehagelig å få truende arbeidere over seg under innsjekk av bagasje. Dette er for primitivt i et land som er så avhengig av turisme.Dette synes jeg Egyptiske myndigheter bør ordne opp i og lære sine egne litt "koder" på hvordan møte andre kulturer på en trygg måte.

I want to visit Egypt Alexandria Knowing that have a green passport Norwegian, I and my wife and daughters do not need to take visa from the embassy in Norway or that I can take when i entered from Egypt Airport? please Advise.
