Requirements of marrying a foreigner in philippines
So i supposed your a filipina and you have an egyptian fiance and planning to get a ciivl wedding in the philippines. If you wanna go through the whole process of application of marriage license it can be very daunting or difficult. I recommend go to facebook search for this reliable office assisting civil weddings for filipina and foreigners ( BCIDP Law office & General Consultancy Philippines) but if you have the luxury of time. Go over to these steps
1. You and your fiance will need to apply for marriage license in the local municipal hall of your filipina fiance. From there you can ask the requirement. Usually the foreigner will be asked to bring “legal capacity to marry” photocopy or passport or birth certificate id pictures and duly completed application form. The filipina should have a CENOMAR NSO Birth certificate barangay clearance cedula and other govt ids. If you have all of these
2. Pass all requirements to the munipal hall/city hall. You will have yo attend two seminars about population control and marriage. And be mindful that your marriage license will have an expiration date and you should have the civil wedding ceremony take place during this period.
3. Prepare the venue for civil wedding and reception. Have fun!
4. After your civil wedding rites. I think you can now apply a copy of your marriage contract in nso office. Have it authenticated / red ribbon for your own purpose/if needed.
This by far has been the information i got by researching. Im getting married also after 4 months with my egyptian fiance. Been planning it earlier. Better earlier so me and my fiance are expecting already the anticipated requirements. Good luck to all of you guys. If you have any questions i might know the answer email me at claimundrn@gmail.com
If i miss a single step in the process. Pls also let me know.
Egyptians needed visa to enter philippines. Tourist visa can be single or multiple entry.
Have them visit the philippine embassy of which country they are staying. Atleast have them apply the visa a month before the expected flight.
Requirements:
1. Valid egyptian passport for atleast 6 months
2. 2 photocopies of passport
3. Completed philippine visa application FORM
4. 2 ID 2x2 colored picture white background
5. Letter from employer of the visa applicant stating salary position rank and purpose of travel in philippines.
6. Bank certificate
7. Police clearance
8. Hotel reservations/letter of invitation/ notarized affidavit from host/sponsor in philippines
9. If working in saudi, include iqama id and exit / re-entry visa
Bring all of these requirements in the philippine embassy and pay the fees
Working days can go as long as one week.
