I am originally Indian, living in Germany. I would like to visit Egypt for a holiday in December and was wondering about the visa procedure. My European friends told me that they will get a visa in the airport, as I have a different nationality I am not sure if I can get visa in the airport too. Can someone please help me and/or tell me where I can find more information!
I am from Nepal and studying in Cologne (Koln) and my college is taking students for field research in Egypt. Do I have to get my visa before-hand or is it available directly at airport of Egypt? If I need it before-hand then how many days will it take for the processing of getting visa?
When I see in many websites, they say that for Nepal, visa for Egypt is available directly at the airport. But I want to be confirmed.

I applied to German passport and I get the confirmation that I can have the German passport, now I need to give up my Egyptian nationality to get the German passport.
1. which papers do I need?
2. how long it will takes from Germany?
3. is there any fee I have to pay? if so, then how much?

ich würede ganz gerne eine schöne Urlaub in Ägypten. Jetzt habe ich eine frage:
Ich habe chinesischen Pass und deutsche Aufenhaltgenehmigung bis 2013. Mein Man ist Deutscher. Wir haben eine 15-Tage Rundreise in Ägypten ausgesucht. Die Reisebüro hat mir gesagt, dass ich ohne Problem mein Visum vor Ort bekommen kann. Ist das wahr? Ich fühle mich nicht so sicher, weil ich die Information im Internet gelesen habe, dass ich unbedingt vorher ein Visum beantragen muss! Jetzt möchte ich gerne bei Ihnen beraten, wenn ich sofort ein Visum beantrage, wann ich bekommen kann. die Reise, die wir ausgesucht haben, fänt am 26.03.2012 an. Und welche Unterlage sollte ich vorbereiten? Ich wohne in Duesseldorf. Wenn ich nach Frankfurt zu Ihrem Konsulat fahre um Visum zu beantragen, kann ich möglicherweise am selbem Tag Visum schon bekommen?
