I am a morrocan citizen reseident in USA,I am a green card holder.
I need to tourist visa to visit Egypt, what is the procedure to follow, and my personal apparence at the egyptian ambassy is really rquired? I am living in detroit and a personal apparence is not easy for me to have time for that.

I have some papers that I need to send over to Egypt, and they have been stamped by the Secretary of State. But the man that needs them says they also need to be notarized by the Egyptian Consulate or they won’t be accepted in Egypt. I was wondering if you guys do that? Thank you
I mailed our (myself and my husband) Passports, application, fee, photos and a certified return envelope for the return of our Passports for a "Tourist Visas". Your Consulate has received our mailing documents on February 1st 2013. Can you please tell us how long will take to get our Visa? Thanks.

Phone Service
Today, Monday July 9 at 11.00 am., I try to call the Consulate but just end up with automated response telling me that opening hours are from 09.30- 1pm
Why is nobody picking up the phone and answer questions about any issues, especially during these times when rules are changing constantly people need to change there work practice instead of making us disinclined .
If you really want to serve the Egyptian people you need a more user friendly and humanly system.
