السلام عليكم ورحمة الله . اخوتي في سوريا مطلوب منهم عمل فحص طبي ومقابلة مع السفارة الاسترالية في القاهرة . قدموا في السفارة المصرية بدمشق لطلب فيزا زيارة رفض طلبهم وحرموا من المقابلة والسفر . ارجو النظر لأوضاعهم الصعبة واعطائهم فيزا عن طريق السفارة المصرية في لبنان
To whom it may concern,
Im Patrick Saliba,a medical student,lebanese citizen and holding the lebanese nationality and passport.
On the 11/february /2014 i applied for the egyptian visa permit to join my friend on a vacation in sharam el sheikh starting on the 24th of the mentioned month till the 4th of it.
i would like to state that a female employee who checked "ONLY" on my passport front page,asked me to make a photocopy of my passport so i did,and she told me that my visa will go under a"mourafaaa amniye" process,and i will get to know the respond in 15 working days, eventhough i have several shengen visas and a Uk one on my passport.
Fearing that this process will take a long time,and since my friend had already made an online booking for the hotel accomodation in "stella del mare" starting the 24th, i made a contact with a travel agency to check on my visa status,and help me book a ticket.
2 days after, on the 13th of february,the agency made a contact with some employee inside the egyptian embassy and i have been told that the egyptian embassy in lebanon had already refused to give me a visa directly and for no stated reason,even though i've been told to wait for 15 days by the female employee.
The discrepancy of such a decision and the irresponsible dealing with my visa request,costed me a loss of money due to my previous hotel reservations,and a made me lose my already planned vacation,which made my other friend cancel his sharam el sheikh trip too.
I would like to be informed about the reasons behind such a disrespectful dealing with the visa requested by a lebanese arab educated multivisas citizen and who is responsible for such a discrepancy in giving wrong deadlines and unclear motivations behind a touristic short visa request.
