photograpy book of Ecuador and Galapagos
Hello:

Some years ago my daughter went with me to the Galapagos and parts of Ecuador and made up a book of photographs for me in appreciation of the trip. It's beautiful and I have just found a second copy I meant to give you at the time.

Do you have a library that would appreciate the second copy of the book?

If so, please let me know as soon as possible and I will bring it over. Otherwise I will give it as a gift to my friend who went on the trip with us.

Best.

obtaining RESIDENCY in Ecuador
sirs:

i have recently returned from a 3-month stay in Cuenca, and found the land and people, wonderful!

i have not been able to illicit any response to my questions regarding Residency, after several attempts to contact the Consulate in Vancouver.

Therefore I thought it better to get in touch with the Main Embassy.

I need to know exactly what documentation I need to take back to Ecuador and include in a formal Application for Residency.

I have been able to determine that a "Security Check" is required, as part of the necessary documents.

I would be most grateful if you could forward all pertinent information to me. The apparent need to supply a "Security Check" is especially confusing as the local police, and the RCMP call it different things, and really don't know what I'm getting at, namely a CERTIFICATE FOR THE PURPOSES of OBTAINING FOREIGN RESIDENCY. Is that correct?

Awaiting your earliest response, for which I would be most grateful,

I am,

Yours truly,

Gregory Poirier

Tommy Alarcon moved to Ecuador after 20 years. He took with him a 40ft container with his personal belongings and a stamped application from the consulate. a month later container arrives and has to be returned some of his personal effects are illegal. aduana claims container has to go into storage. aduana claims he will lose his vehicles and the time in storage their are testamonies that their personal belonging have been stolen. Aduana in Ecuador also says that the application of a Toronto consulate is invalid. who are the scammers government or Aduana? can some one give me insight
