I understand there is a New Consul in Los Angeles California, will you please disclose the New Consul's Name and hours of interview him please.
My husband who is Spanish and I called this afternoon to the Los Angeles Ecuadorian consulate. The woman there who is in charge was an absolute bitch to my husbands
questions. We are only in the area for two days as we have been out of the country in Chile for a year and are preparing to move to Ecuador. This woman would not answer questions, took an attitude with like she was better than us, and then hung up on my husband after telling him she would not talk to him until tomorrow. After having spoken with the DC consular services, all I can say is put on heavy gear to deal with this woman. she has none of the kind manners of the Ecuadorian people.
My dad gave me a car here in Ecuador, The car is in his name and in order for me to register it I need him to give me a power of attorney. He lives in Oregon and I live here. Anyone know what I need to do for him to give me the poa? I heard that he has to go through an Ecuadorian consulate. Any help is appreciated.
Dear Consulate General, I am a US citizen and my mother, who is Ecuadorean also became a US citizen in the 1980's. Is it possible for me to obtain an Ecuadorean passport?
Thank you,
Chris
I was born in Ecuador but when I was 9 years old my father migrated to Sydney Australia for a better life. I have had no problems obtaining my cedula and ecuadorian passport since his excellency Rafael Correa has been President. My first time in Ecuador was in 2000 and I was shocked couldn't get used to the corruption and how backward my country was, I lasted 10 days and took off to New York City. I went back in 2006, 2010 and 2013 and noticed what a difference the President has made to my country. I am planning to go to live there in 2014. I don't like it when some Ecuadorian people complain about him because if it wasn't for him they would be eating dirt that is why my dad left Ecuador in 1966 for a better life but unfortunately Sydney Australia has given my family sadness and sorrow with a lot of bad memories and that is one of my main reasons to get out of Sydney Australia I write this comments from the heart. One of my brother's was murdered here in Sydney Australia and nothing was done to solve his murder. It is not hard to obtain your cedula or Ecuadorian passport if you hand in the correct documents etc.
I was born in Ecuador and became a US citizen did I loose my Ecuador citizenship if yes can and how do I get it back.
