attorney recommended to me by the consulate he took 6000.00 from me witch i have receipts for and NOTHING WAS DONE....never again, no standards, no repercussions. Wondering if there are any honest lawyers in the Dominican. Would not recommend the Dominican Republic to anyone except for a short vacation. Next year as a retiree I am taking my money somewhere else

Soy ciudadana italiana y USA.

Needing information regarding a passport
Hello,
My name is Kumari. I have a client that I am working with who is in a Domestic Violence Shelter in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is from the Domican Republic, she needs to replace her passport and visa that was stolen by her abuser who won't return them. How can she go about getting a replacement? He hsa stolen all of her ID os she can't even look for work or file for any benefits.
