I am a resident of Serampore, is planning to make a film on this old city which is a pre-colonial town (city) on the west bank of the Hooghly River, it was part of Danish India under the name Frederiknagore from 1755 to 1845. Very sad to mention that most of the relic past of Danish dynasty is dying a natural death in lack of proper maintenance. Serampore college one of the earliest college of Asia is going to celebrate its 200 century celebration in 2018. This college which came up by direct patronage of Colonel Ole Bie, who was appointed the first Crown regent of Serampore in 1776 by the Danish king Frederick VI, the King of Denmark, issued Serampore College its Royal Charter of Incorporation on 23 February 1827, in Copenhagen, Denmark (Charter, 1, Charter, 2, Charter, 3). I am wondering if I can get some support from Denmark goverment to make a film on this historical town focussing on the Danish dynasty.
