Genealogy information about Emil Hanson in Buenos Aries. Argentina?
My great grandfather, Emil Hansen, left his family in Copenhagen probably sometime after 1885 with his partner to work in Buenos Aries. I believe he and his partner built bridges. The partner returned to Copenhagen probably by 1890 or1891, but Emil did not return.

When I was in Buenos Aries some years ago, I found several Emillio Hansens in the local phone book. I am looking for help in researching my great grandfather in Buenos Aries as well as identifying any possible offspring of Emil Hansen in Argentina. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I do not speak or read Danish or Spanish. I must depend on English translations or Google translation help.

Can your Danish Embassy staff help me, or can they put me in touch with someone who can help?

Best regards,
Nancy Preiss
