Hi. I was wondering what's the process of re-gaining Croatian Citizenship. I have an old (post Balkan war) citizenship certificate however, I've changed my full name, legally here in Australia. What do I need to do before I'm able to apply for the Croatian Passport?
I would like to know how I can obtain a copy of my birth certificate , I was born in Croatia on the 23/1/1955 in stari mikanovci in Slavonia , please let me know how I can do this as I need a copy for a passport thank you my email is

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a permanent resident of Australia and citizen of India.
I am planning to travel to USA and then Macedonia via Zagreb, Croatia. My wait time at airport is less than 3 hours. I hold a valid B1/B2 visa for USA and tourist visa for Macedonia. Can you please advise if I need transit visa for Croatia.
If yes, what’s the procedure and how long it takes?
An early response would be much appreciated.
Thank you very much.
Kind Regards
Meenakshi
