NEED A TOURIST VISA FOR MY FIANCEE
HELLO,
MY FAMILY HERE IS PLANNING A FAMILY REUNION IN JULY, AND I WANT TO BRING MY FIANCEE FROM COSTA RICA TO ATTEND. I WAS TOLD A FIANCE VISA TAKES ABOUT 6-8 MONTHS, IS IT BETTER FOR ME TO APPY FOR A TOURIST VISA FOR HER? ALSO, HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO APPLY AND GET APPROVED FOR A TOURIST VISA. OR, WILL THE FIANCE VISA BE THE BETTER OPTION?

Who do I contact about dishonest Car rental agency in San Jose
We recently traveled in your country and rented a car in San Jose from Economy Rent a car. We were told the government controls all insurance rates and our rental cost 62.00 dollars a day, however our insurance was 75.00 per day. Upon returning home we have now found they are charging us even more than what our contract is. We also found out that basic coverage is only 20 a day but was told it was much higher so we would buy full coverage instead. We love your country and most of your people, however being from the US we need help resolving this matter. No honest person likes dealing with crooks, and I am sure you are not proud of yours like I am not proud of the ones in the States. Please let me know whom to contact for help on this matter.

Problems in Costa Rica
I bought property in Costa Rica through a developer about 7 years ago & paid it in full. I still have not received my deed. The developer was sued in the US by many investors. The company is still viable but may not have assets. Naturally, this has a negative implication on Costa Rica & the Costa Rican government since they have not stepped up to rectify the situation. Can pressure be put on the Costa Rican government to look into this travesty?

consent letter to travel for minor
I am traveling from NY to Costa Rica in December with my 14 year old daughter on a Company retreat, do I need to obtain a letter of consent from the absent parent in order for her to travel even though she just received her passport?

Tourist Visa
Hello,
I am a US citizen, however, my mother was born in Costa Rica. I'd like to visit family in Costa Rica this winter (for a few months). When and how can I get a tourist visa extension? Do I have to wait until i'm in Costa Rica or can I apply before I arrive?

Thank you
