Legalization
We delivered our docs in person to a Govt. receiving branch today in Qindao city. They will be sent to Beijing Foreign Affairs for "legalizing" and so on. Went much better than expected. They just like you to deliver your things in person.

In trying to get her documents legalized so we visit my retirement home in Costa Rica we are told the Beijing Consul of Chinese foreign Affairs will not accept her docs. They only specialize in those that are officially sent by institutions. the Shandong province branch only have two persons on staff and they say it will be a mminimum of 3 mmonths Please help us ???

Police repart
I am an American Teaching in China. I have lived here for seven years. I want to retire in Costa Rica. Will a police report from Shanghai suffice or do I have to get a report from the USA where I formerly resided?
