At this time I am very eager to attend the Development Courses programmed of Leadership .But it is difficult to me to afford the financial case. So would you give me a chance to study in scholarship or in sponsorship in cook islands also to find work and live there, freely? Thank you

birth certificate
I too had applied for a copy of my birth certificate 23 yrs ago and was told also that the original was destroyed due to a fire where the records were held, however a birth cert came back to me with the wrong birth date on in, it was the right year the right month but the wrong day, I made inquiries and was told sorry you have to go with this from now on. Its such a hassle now, my marriage cert has my real DOB but my license has my new DOB, how can I go about getting a cert with the real date because this now is rather annoying and I would like this situation to be rectified.

re: Upokotea Ponini
Kia orana, i applied for a birth cerificate in regards of my dad two years ago and paid for it. Ive had no contact from the consulate, nor had the birth certificate sent to my address, im sometimes wonder if we have the right people in this service to help us retrieve these documents from the island. This documents if so important to me. Could you please get back to me as soon as possible. You have my details.

Birth Certificate
Awhile back I came into your Auckland office to apply for a copy of my birth certificate, I was told that due to the fire of the registry office in Rarotonga there was not copies available, in the end I was issued a birth certificate listing all the information I had given to the consulate. I later realized that is was not an accurate document because it did not list my mothers full name, I feel the Cook Island Consulate created a birth certificate for me on the spot, which seems pretty crummy. I have been using another name from the one they listed on the birth certificate which makes me question if it was a genuine birth certificate or one created. Due to the fact that the name I use is not listed on this birth certificate I need to change my name by deed poll to match all my other identification, in the end I feel the consulate stuffed my up big time.
