Dear Mr. Embassador,
On behalf the animals, we, the defenders of their rights to live, claim stop Yulin festival.
Please consider contributing to our efforts to end dogs being killed for delicacy foods in China. Knowing that stolen pets are the major source of supply is heartbreaking to us.
Did you know, every year, on the summer solstice, thousands of dogs are rounded up to be eaten in Yulin, China as part of a Dog Meat Festival? We believe that this cruel “festival” has no place in the 21st century.
There are so many reasons to end this horrific festival -- warning, the following information may be upsetting.
The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is also a dangerous food safety issue. Dogs sold on the market are sick, poisoned and dying animals. They suffer from horrendous conditions during the long distance, trans-provincial journeys, many days without food and water and may carry contagious disease.
We appeal to you to act in the interest of public health, food safety, animal welfare, and the image of Guangxi and China. The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is a business operation that undermines the national and public interest. The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region government is at a historical juncture. The Dog Meat Festival must end.
Thank you in advance,

I am an ardent PRChinaa Visitorsince 2009. I have been as a visitor to all the major cities of PRC. I have been in Hong Kong several times and IU usually take the dependable Ferry across thbe 52 KM to Zhongshan inb Guangdong on trhe mainland of China. I researched in my earlier days about Chinese Christianity. It was a deluightful surprise for me that Assyrian Church of the East missionaries came to China in AD 635 and they were guided by traders via the Kashgar to Xian the then Capital of Old China. There is a stele and boulkder with the inscriptions of the e\istence of Eastern Church Christianity on the rock and they remained inb great harmony during the Tang, Yuan dynasties and then in 1368 the Ming Dynasty caused the destruction of Christianity. Mongolian rulers such as Kublai Khan and his sons were tolerant and learned a wealth of information from the Monks and people of the Church of the East. This ancient church still exists in the Western Countries as well as in South India known as the Chaldean Church of The East with Mar Aprem as the Metropolitan of all the East at Trichur, Kerala State,India. Iam continuing my visits to Zhongshan, China in 2014 and I hope to contribute to the society my expert knowledge in Eastern Psychotherapy
PLEASE TELL me IF I CAN OBTAIN ENTRY INTO ZONGSHAN arriving by FERRY FROM HONGKONG on 25 DECEMBER and DEPARTING ON 27 evening. I AM AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN RESIDENT IN NEW ZEALAND.
