Comments on this Consulate-General
Dear Mr. Embassador,
On behalf the animals, we, the defenders of their rights to live, claim stop Yulin festival.
Please consider contributing to our efforts to end dogs being killed for delicacy foods in China. Knowing that stolen pets are the major source of supply is heartbreaking to us.
Did you know, every year, on the summer solstice, thousands of dogs are rounded up to be eaten in Yulin, China as part of a Dog Meat Festival? We believe that this cruel “festival” has no place in the 21st century.
There are so many reasons to end this horrific festival -- warning, the following information may be upsetting.
The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is also a dangerous food safety issue. Dogs sold on the market are sick, poisoned and dying animals. They suffer from horrendous conditions during the long distance, trans-provincial journeys, many days without food and water and may carry contagious disease.
We appeal to you to act in the interest of public health, food safety, animal welfare, and the image of Guangxi and China. The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is a business operation that undermines the national and public interest. The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region government is at a historical juncture. The Dog Meat Festival must end.
Thank you in advance,

I have a 6 month visa for chine. I have a letter of invitation. I have a UK passport. I have a single flight air ticket from Frankfurt to Hong Kong and 3 days later to Changsha. Is a single ticket acceptable? I all of a sudden realized that I might not be granted access with a single ticket. Will I be allowed in? My reason for the single ticket was because I was unsure of my return date and wanted to decide.
Dear Sir,
We Got Cheated By a Chinese Company Using AM Bank's Account Details. We went to Shanghai Exibhition on July 2012. There we got to know about some machines and we plan to purchase the same. They have send me bank details as follows
AM Bank, Berhad. Account name : Sumathi Elumalai. They told me that it is there sub company person's account and they asked me to transfer the fund to the details given by them. We have transferred USD 16000 to this account and they are saying that your mail is hacked and this is not our email id etc.... We are not able to believe that how come they are using your bank's details for these kind of cheating. When we have contact Malaysian Embassy in Chennai, India - they
told to send a official mail to the Bank and try to find to the details, if there is no response from your side then they promised to take the same to the Malaysian Governments notice. We are trying to find out the truth behind the same. We have
send the mail to Chinese officials also. Can you please help us to whom we should talk to regarding the same. Can we expect some help from you. Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
For Sign Era

I am an American citizen who has been visiting Germany for the last 2 months. I will be here for at least another month. Can I apply for a Chinese visa while I am in Germany? Before I left the States, I read on the Chinese Embassy website that you must not apply more than 3 months in advance for the visa, which is why I did not do it while home.
