For all of those who wish, want, plan or otherwise crave to emigrate to Canada, take this advice seriously. What ever they tell you how wonderful it is, how good jobs you will have and all that stuff, forget about it. Only 5% is true if you are lucky. Only if you are coming from such desperate situations like Gaza, Syria and similar places, you'll do better in Ca. If you have any kind of decent life in your country, stay. It is far better to be poor or just OK in your own country than in foreign country, regardless how "wonderful" they tell it is. The unemployement is high, wages are low as per current govt's policy, climate is simply terrible. Brutally cold winters and as brutaly hot and muggy summers. If you get 2 months of Ok wether in a year, you are lucky. The list of adverse things is endless. But one must admit; if you are absolutely desperate, why not it is as good as any less desperate place. Believe it or not, it is up to you.

Our director needs traveler visa for Canada for him and his family-wife and two children. We werw told that we must give their passports and wait 4-6 weeks to get it back. Our company is representative of Austrian and Italian companies and he is out of Serbia most of the time and he cannot be without passport so long. Is there possibility for a shorter time of keeping passport? Can he apply directly in Viennna if it would be faster to get back passport?

Hi,
have applied for my wife's Temporary Visa to come to Canada together with me and our son, both I and our Son are canadians,and my wife is Serbian.
The listed wait timing on the CIC site is 36 days, which is essentially the exact time between date application received and our travel date to Canada from Budapest on April 15th.
Question is is there anyway to actually contact Vienna Visa office for expediting a last minute request for completion of visa application or should i rather now rebook flights?
does anyone have any insights?

I am travelling to US, but I will arrive in Canada- Toronto. On the same day I will travel to US with car. What kind of visa do I need, transit or standard tourist visa?

I'm writing this letter to please you for help about transit visa for Canada.
Before one month we got american visa for 10 years lasting , and immediately made ticket reservation for visiting my sister , she is living in Saint Peters burg Florida. I both the ticket online , but i haven't been informed that i need transfer visa for Canada . Our fly is Skopje-Zurich-Toronto- New York -Tampa, you can see in attachment files.
I was asking all the time , some agency , in our airport : do i need transit visa , and i didn't get the right answer , so i decide in order to be everything right to apply online for transit visa.
Our fly begins in 22 of December , so i deeply please you for help me to get the transit visa before 22 of December.
If i knew this before , i will done everything on time , but now i need help from you , so please be aware our arrive in airport in Toronto is on the same terminal witch we are departure .
I want to celebrate the holidays with my relatives.

I am sponsoring my spouse to come to Canada but the application had some gabs which needed to be filled we mail it to Vienna but we did not get any response if they received. How do we check the Vienna post office or online if they received it and if they don't received on time do you thing they will close the file or something, thank you.
