Requsting to transfer visa file
Dear Canadian Consulate,

I am a Canadian citizen residing in Edmonton Alberta. I have applied a visitor visa for my mother, residing in Shiraz, Iran. The application has been processing through the Canadian embassy in Ankara, Turkey.

Last week, I have received an e-mail from the Canadian embassy in Ankara that my mother needs to give her passport to the embassy to receive her visitor visa for canada in the next 60 day. However, she has booked her flight to fly to Phoenix to see my sister in march 17 2013.

I would appreciate your advise whether the Canadian consulate in Phoenix is able to accept her file being transferred from Ankara and facilitate to issue her visa while she is staying in Phoenix?

I can be reached at shahram@ualberta.ca

Best Regards,
Shahram
