The Nova Scotia - Regional Labour Market Demand Stream allows eligible applicants who satisfy the visa requirements to apply for permanent residence to Canada. Visa requirements include; being between 21 to 55 years of age, having sufficient proficiency in English or French, having a post-secondary diploma of at least 1-year, having one of 43 specified in-demand occupations, and having at least 2 years experience in the occupation as well as other general requirements.
Under the Nova Scotia - Regional Labour Market Demand Stream, applicants:
do not require a job offer;
do not need to undergo language testing;
eligible occupations include options in engineering, health services, skilled trades and food service.
