GREAT VISIT TO CAMBODIA
Dear Mr. Kim Chha Hout,
We had no idea what to expect when my friend and I came to your office for a Visa to visit Cambodia (Siem Reap). I wish we could tell everyone what an amazing place it is and the wonderful people we encountered.

I cannot recommend highly enough the Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Resort. I booked an excellent rate through the Sofitel web site which included the abundant breakfast. The rooms are large and comfortable and the grounds large, immaculate, lovely and surrounded by a wall which separates it from any street noise. It is about 1 mile from the center of the town which is perfect if you dislike the noise, fumes and minimal hustle and bustle. It's very easy to get into town with a tuk-tuk ($1), the drivers are happy to wait for the return regardless of how long you'll take. We took the easy way by hiring the day tour through the hotel with a car and driver and couldn't be happier. A private tour company in Vietnam had encouraged us to use their services at more than double the price.
We are thrilled we didn't follow through with them. For $142/day [9am-6pm] (divided by 2 couples) we got a luxe Sofitel Hotel Van with revolving plush seating, cold bottles of water and scented cold wet towels at each stop with fresh fruit. The guide was wonderful (though a bit difficult to understand at times). We toured several of the Wats on day 1 and 2, then drove out to the floating village on day 3. We had time to shop the local markets and street stands and ate wonderful meals in several types of local establishments.

Its impossible to say that Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, Banteay Srei and the Grand Circuit, Kbal Spean and the floating village can be adequately described. They are all amazing, as is the nature which surrounds it. Its painful that the one way to see and experience it is also the one thing that is destroying it.....vast numbers of visitors. Travelers are a major lifeblood to the economy, but also are hurting the delicate sandstone/limestone. Signs that say "DO NOT TOUCH" and "DO NOT CLIMB" are regularly ignored. It is this unwillingness for humans to respect the sacred which is so damaging.

Thank you for your help and speed in providing our Visa's. This was a very worthwhile trip that I hope I can soon share with my granddaughters.

Bringing brother and sister
I am a Cambodian and I am married with a us man. I am in the process of applying the citizen and I'm wondering if I can bring my brother and sister to live here? I want to take care of them as the result, they are an orphan and nobody is taking care of them.
