Invitation for Interview on Tshwane TV
Greetings I hope my email finds you well my name is Thabang Mokgwadi, Im a Business Development Manager for Junto Media, a multi-media broadcaster. We are currently producing a TV breakfast show for Tshwane TV called “The Capital Breakfast Show” and I’m keen to invite your participation on our show, which will be broadcasted on DSTV channel 262 Tshwane TV. The particular segment that we would like your involvement is called “Afri scan” an intimate look at your particular country exploring all facets of life regarding the country from tourist destinations, staple foods, currency, arts and culture as well as languages, culture and heritage.

The format would be studio based QnA session that can have multimedia presentations that we can source from the embassy, our vision is to have an informative engagement with someone knowledgeable about the country as well as engage with civil society movements and various organisations that are mandated to promote the country.

We will conduct the interviews at our facilities located at no1, 5th street, Northwold.

We would be profiling a country a week and during that week we will have infographics giving out more information on the country as well as interesting facts, we would very much appreciate your participation and would like to formally extend this invitation hoping it would be met with a favourable outcome. I’ve enclosed our company profile and Im available at your earliest convenience to clarify or supply any further information you might have and upon your comfirmation we would also send sample questions so that you can have adequate time to prepare. I am a Hong Kong China resident and an amateur of travelling.

As my HKSAR passport has the word “CHINA” printed on the cover, for several times it was misunderstood as a China passport, and I was requested to produce a visa or to pay a costly fee for applying a visa when entering some countries, though these countries are visa-free access for HKSAR passport.



Around 3 months ago, I went to the consulate in Bamako, the capital in Mali, to verify my HKSAR passport. It was my fortune that you granted me an interview and listened to my explanation and most grateful that you issued a letter to me which confirmed the status of my passport.



Thanks to this letter, I could visa-free access your country and had a chance to experience the friendliness of your people. They were all helpful and sincere that I met. I spent a very happy and unforgettable holiday for a week in your country.
