Visa Request from Ghana
Dear Sir/Madam,

I have been invited to present a paper at the International Police Executive Symposium (IPES) to be held in Sofia in July 2014. I had wanted to attach the invitation letter and the flier from the Ministry of Interior, Bulgaria, to this email for your further information but there is no provision for that. I am in Ghana but unfortunately there is no Bulgaria embassy in Ghana. The nearest country that I can go is Nigeria but it will be too expensive to go to Nigeria since I do not know anybody there coupled with the threat from BOKO Haram (Terrorist group associated with Al Qaeda) whose members have been killing a lot of innocent people. I am afraid to go to Nigeria for the visa. I have been informed by the organizers of the meeting in Sofia that I would be asked to chair a plenary session and may also become a discussant at the conference as I did it when the meeting was held in collaboration with United Nations at UN in New York, 2012. I was directed by your office in Sofia to contact you if you can arrange for me to have the visa processing at the Moscow Embassy in Accra.
