What You Will Need
You will need passport, photos (3.1x3.6), flight itinerary, credit card, 5380 pesos (Sept 2015) and application form filled out and provided on Brasil Consulate General website.

Same question, but it looks like no one has answered. From what I've heard you don't need an appointment, but you do need passport sized photos, exact cash for the visa, and a credit card for their records.
