Brazil, great country, great for better human rights.
Dear Mr Ambassador and friends who read this message,

the fantastic World Cup kicks off today with Brazil playing Croatia.

There has been much attention to the massive cost of the competition in a country that has a huge gap between rich and poor.

While we must remember that Brazil has great people, traditions and places to visit, we must work to change the terrible prison conditions in Brazil. Some prisons are full to more than NINE times their capacity and are a breeding ground for TB and recruitment for some notorious gangs.

Let's enjoy the World Cup but work with the good people of Brazil to bring about change for the weakest and most needy.

Please Mr Ambassador here in Bangkok, see what you can do as you rub shoulders with the rich and powerful to bring about justice for prisoners and our friends in the favelas.

Thank you.
Best wishes,
