Nca'a Nca'ase Traditional Dance Group from New Xanagas
Dear Madam,
Dear Sir,

Through this message I would like to inform you of a ground-breaking Botswanan event taking place at !Khwa ttu San Culture and Education Centre in Yzerfontein, South Africa on 28 October 2012:

Twelve young Naro-speaking dancers from the San village New Xanagas, in the Gantsi district, will be performing hunting and gathering dances at a large-scale "boma" at !Khwa ttu San Culture and Education Centre at 3pm on Sunday 28 October 2012. The traditional dance group is called "Nca'a Nca'ase", who were formed in 1996. They were selected by !Khwa ttu's trainee curators Jobe Gabototwe and Magdalena Lucas, who especially travelled to the famous Kuru Dance Festival in D'kar last August for the occasion.

After the Consulate General in Cape Town sadly closed down recently, we unfortunately find ourselves without official Botswanan representation. We expect various journalists to be present for the once-off event, including a film crew from CNN. We would very much welcome the presence of the Botswana Embassy and/or High Commission at the Nca'a Nca'ase performance.
