I am a Masters Degree holder in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems Engineering. I was awarded the Masters Degree in 1981. From 1981, I was working with the Public Works Department under the Government of Kerala at various roles. At the time of leaving the job during 2010, I was holding the highest post of Superintending Engineer. Now, I am doing MEP consultancy services.
During my career, I have done designs for all sorts of MEP installations for buildings of all applications including those in the high -rise category. Many of the installations were huge. I also got the expertise in tendering and award of contracts, supervision and quality control etc.
Since I held senior positions for a long period, I got immense experience with the codes, standards and rules for MEP works. I have good knowledge of IEC standards, Indian Standards, IEEE, BS and other international standards.
It is understood that Botswana is in search of expert Engineering professional for the formulation of Standards. If given a chance, I can be a part of the team to formulate the Electro Mechanical Standards for Botswana.
It will be a pride for me to be a partner in the Standard Formulation Team which, in turn, will be stepping stone for the quality Nation Building of Botswana employing cutting edge technology in conformity with very stringent standards in par with the latest stringent International Standards meeting the specific requirements of Botswana.
