Sub: Request to expedite my travel visa.
As I have been trying to obtain a tourist visa for Botswana since the beginning of March, and my departure date is coming awe fully close, I am writing this letter.
After a fully paid booking with GAdventures/National Geographic tour and my travel history of 80 countries in 7 continents , I had no doubt of getting visas on time. As part of this tour getting visas for Zimbabwe, Namibia and Ethiopia were cake walks. My tension is only Botswana.
If I don’t get visa in the next 3/4 days, I will have to cancel my group tour and business classes flights, thereby loosing most of the US$5000 I have already paid and forget about touring these countries. At my age (68), I can only plan a trip to each country once to cover my target of 100+ countries.
Hence, I request you to expedite issue of my visa. I would rather spend my tourist $ in a beautiful country like Botswana than anywhere else.
Thanks for going through my agony and for your help.

Botswana visa office in New Delhi doesn’t encourage even genuine tourists to visit botswana.
I have booked a national Geographic/GAdventuresfoully paid tour. Visa office wants individual hotel confirmations, not accepting the confirmations by the above tour company. After submitting, they say I have to. Wait for two weeks. Having traveled 80 countries in 7 continents, first time I am facing this situation. I would loose over $5000 if I don’t get visa before 28th mar. Anybody listing?
