Dear Consular
Perhaps as tourist initiative you may want to consider allowing Indian passport holders who have permanent residency of South Africa /South African ID to visit Botswana without visas as you do for South African passport holders. There are many that would love to drive to Botswana over long weekends and weekends as tourists but can't due to the visa requirements and not everyone is Joburg based to quickly pop and do visas. Perhaps it may help your tourism as well and surely will give us a destination to visit ofetn and spend some rands/pulas

Good day
We start our three week tour of Botswana on the 4th of May 2015, and our first stop is the Tuli Bloc. We are entering through the Platjan border post and have been told that we can take a small amount of Red Meat and Chicken (for own consumption) - however, I cannot get through to the Border Post to confirm this with anyone. I do not want to bring meat and then have to throw it away at the border. Is there any forms I have to fill in beforehand to bring Red meat or chicken? e-mail address: allanandjoy@gmail.com

Please provide me with the details of important contact persons who live in the village. If possible, kindly connect me with a local leader, Kgosi or Kgosanaka. My email address is ranaka.guerrillamedia@gmail.com. My residential addrees is 229 Klipspringer Avenue, Leondale, Germiston 1401. My mobile phone is 073 847 4393.
I will be in Botswana from 24-29 Nov 14. My passport expires in Mar 2015. Are there any rules around passport expiry? Or will it be fine for me to travel?
