I winter in Belize (I am Canadian) and wish to bring in inexpensive handmade lionfish polespears to sell to spearfishing enthusiastes in Belize. Question I have is regarding the import duties / taxes I should expect?

I will be travelling to Mexico and will be heading to Belize right after. What do I need to prepare? Thank you for your assistance.

passport expiry date - visitng Belize Is it true that passport of visitors to Belize must be valid for 6 months after planned departure date from Belize? This is awfully inconvenient and causes unnecessary expense in obtaining a new passport before exisitng valid passport actually expires.
