Hi there I am travelling to the Caribbean in March and I have a stop in Belize. For a few hours do I need to get a visa. I have purchased an American visa already.

Hi Nadine,
I have a client who will travel to Belize in Sept for approx 8 weeks. He is a 6 year Med Student and will travel to Belize for a his elective. He will be on an Australian Passport and hold a return ticket. The information I have is that he does not require a visa for a stay of up to 30 day and any stay longer he can extend his visa in Belize.Please advise if this information is still current and what procedure must he follow to extend his visa.
