Am so sorry to read all these negative comments, I went to did my baby passport renewal in August of this year was told in 8 weeks it will be back, and was call in the exact 8weeks time for my baby passport was happy cause at first I didn't know if I could trust that system. Only thing I suggest that the staff need to be more professional.
I'm reading the reviews here and I've applied for passport, submitted my application for passport renewal along with my two sisters and nobody has yet to experience any of the frustrations mentioned on this board. I was even able to get my passport extended for a year so that I can have it for my immigration interview with no worries, in and out the same day. I've called the contact number and received excellent customer service along with very informative answers to my questions. I'm rather confused that everyone else is having such a hard time.
You have been warned this place is a scam. i submitted my passport app in OCT 2013 and i have still not gotten my passport as of Jan 2015. I suggest you apply for citizenship of the country where you are living than apply for a passport renewal. And their phone-line is a joke. You will be forever happy you left Belize for good. No more of this BS.
the most used belizean business phrase is "come back latah",followed by "me noh know".
I put my pp in on march 2 of this yr. B4 submitting my application it was a circus. Finally it was accepted. in June of this yr I started calling leaving messages and v.Mails. When I did get in touch with someone I was told they would get back to me. Today Dec.22.14 I called and was told my app. Was still there and never was sent out bc my signature don't match...When I ask y wasn't I informed I was told she don't no. Now I have to cancel my plans for the holidays..This is sad.....
Everyone; If you have not done so already contact the embassy in Washington (202)332-9636 Monday - Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Fridays 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. They should be able to help/assist you concerning your passport applications. I have done passport business with them in the past and have found the staff to be highly professional and very knowledgeable in the application process.
I have been waiting 9 months and no reply as to why my passport is not done yet. I call, email, sent letters they don't reply or answer. I live in another state and i cant come to ny because of work. All i wanted was an answer. they cant even do something as simple as that. That's why people is leaving your country for good. Can't even do something simple as renew a passport in a timely matter.
Worse eperience ever, people at office half ass explain the application to me so was back and forth four times before they finally accept my application, they make it so difficult for us belizean, and back home in belize they are selling passport like crazy WTF.Something need to be done sooner rather than later.
the service is the worst
