Fighting Hunger with Youths
Kenya and Africa is characterized by young generation.Over 60% of the population are young generation and majority are not employed.This simply means that the working population will have to support a large and growing number of young people. These younger people will need employment and opportunities for better standards of living. In order to ameliorate this problem, urgent program of agricultural sector investment is recommended to create jobs quickly in order to respond at the needs of the youth and the other employed. On the other hand, we should also enhance the capacity of vulnerable groups like women who play a major role in food production. Hunger and poverty is a global challenge. It is often called the most severe and critical manifestation of poverty. These are dimensionality; they include shortage of income and deprivation in other aspects eg in life-expectancy and in the standard and quality of life experience. It puts breaks on economic growth in a country striving to end poverty and contributes to internal conflicts and also to global instability. I believe if we reduce hunger, we will attain other Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) particularly those relating to poverty reduction, healthy and education. We must ensure that this does not happen again by joining forces now to banish hunger from this country once and for all. In order to tap the enormous energies that our youths possess and direct the energies to meaningful endeavors and create employment, agriculture must be given priority. Failure to this, we will seal their fate (youth) as a viable and thriving human community. Our youths are most visible in wrong areas. They lead in ares of illiteracy,sexual recklessness, unemployment and drug abuse.Our youths are imbibing drug addicts in such a reckless manner in such quantities that they are slowly being transformed into useless misfits whose favorite pastime is yawning. To cure this disease, a correct diagnosis must be made and i believe investing in agricultural industry will transform our youths. I know young generations does not own lands.Kindly if given a chance, we will encourage them to lease from most octogenarian land owners in all counties, from whom age has slapped the energy required for robust farming.This will create a symbiotic relationship between the young farmers and the landlords. The landlords will continue drawing economic rent from the land while the young farmers reap heavily the high profits that come from farming. This will also promote more octogenarian land owners to seek partnership with the new breed of young farmers to avoid paying taxes for their idle land. By encouraging young farmers to venture into agricultural industry, we will create employment for our thousand youths, create wealth, food security, unity and exchange ideas.This will also help to recognize and tap the enormous energies possessed by the youths and direct the energies to a meaningful endeavors. Kindly lets share this common commitment to the rapid eradication of hunger and achieve a permanent solution to offer these protracted crises and into a path of sustainable development.

I am Kenyan residing in Nairobi, my sister lives in Belgium, she sent me her birth certificate to have it legalised. It had been done before but the new rule requires it not to be more than six months old. Kindly let me know the procedure and when i can visit your offices.
