Comments on this Embassy
Hi i am a well educated physically disabled person in Uganda who has struggled to start a small enterprise after facing the hardships in finding employment else where. for this i felt concerned of the most vulnerable Pwds else were in Uganda, and thus decided this can best be alleviated through vocational skills acquisition for self employment. i initiated a project namely ' THE SKILLS FOR LIFE PROJECT' necessary to educate Pwds in skills namely Mechanics, Hair dressing, and Tailoring and design, budgeted to cost $ 35000 for one year, hoping that this will be an everlasting source of employment. i partnered with a vocational training institute, as the training agent and have registered thirty eligible and functional physically disabled people pending funds to enroll them into training.
i will be most delighted to send a copy of the project proposal on request, to guide a decision on our application
